play strong. play smart.
Muscular audio doesn’t have to be bulky. Tall, slim and elegant, the HS series
floorstanding loudspeakers make a positive impression even before they start to
perform. But with soft-dome tweeters for crystalline high-frequency sound, and
dual woofers coupled with dual passive radiators for improved bass response,
rest assured, they sound as good as they look.
Make it your own with
optional interchangeable grilles,
a Boston exclusive.

Boston Horizon Floorstanding speakers
What it means to be from Boston.
Many manufacturers design speaker systems around third-party, off-the-shelf parts.
Boston Acoustics engineers every component of every system to meet the highest performance
standards (our own). Of course, performance is only one measure of value. So we’re careful to
build all our products with strict attention to everything from the choice of materials to the
details of fit and finish. It’s how we’ve been exceeding the expectations of serious listeners for
nearly thirty years.
May we have your full attention?
HS Series floorstanding speakers pack a lot of technology into their trim ABS exteriors.
MBOS (Maximum Bass Output System) uses passive radiators and a rear port to improve bass
performance — without the audible noise of a port alone. Proprietary Deep Channel® Design
(DCD) poly cones with phase plugs deliver smooth, consistent response at any output level.
Front baffles are gently curved. And the cabinets themselves are heavily braced to reduce
unwanted resonances. The combined result is the natural, captivating sound you expect from
Boston, with clean, contemporary style.
